PAPERBACK first! Sald Harl the hero of this novel wanted ONLY to soar on the back of his great eagle - NailBiter. From bodyguard to the prince he becomes a common criminal, his life in danger. Cond: This is a very COLLECTIBLE copy of Duncan's scarce second book. It has some VERY minor chipping/rubbing at one corner, along the spine edge and back, top edge. ELSE tight and crisp and AS new. No marks NOR names. MAY be UNread. Quote from p.190:".impression on Potro. NailBiter spread his primaries and landed gently at IceFire's side on the worn stone wall of the perching. Then he bent his head, and Shadow's feet touched down also." (See also my listing of Rose Red City - Duncan's debut work.).

Terms of sale
We may accept International money orders or personal cheques; please allow 6 days for cheques to clear. Please make cheques payable to Wagon Tongue Books. I can handle your credit card transactions ONLY through the ABE.commerce program. PAYPAL is also a workable option. We under rate the condition of our books, build cardboard shipping sleeves for protected shipping and respond promptly to requests and queries. Shipping and handling on all books is at the expense of the purchaser, and is often in the $12.95 per item range. Book weight and volume purchases will alter these conditions. We will be happy to re-quote books in Canadian dollars for local buyers and to arrange local `hand-offs'of purchases, if you prefer.
Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing less than 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
