Published in 1909, this is the second but completely revised edition of this classic Gothic Supernatural novel, it states on the reverse of the title page that the book has been revised so much in detail that it constitutes to being an almost new work. This edition features cover artwork by the Occultist Austin Osman Spare. CONDITION The spine is a little dulled with a small mark, internally noticeable browning to the endpapers, old ownership name and bookplate to front endpapers, some foxing to the opening and closing few pages else in good general condition.
