A first edition of this biography of William Shakespeare Illustrated with a frontispiece and many engravings in the text by Gerald E. Moira. Large paper copy. In a paper-covered binding. Externally, rather worn, with some rubbing and marks. Joints are cracked and tender. Internally, binding strained in places with a few pages detached. Ink inscription to front endpaper.
