Hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, xiii + 222 pages including maps and drawings, plus 20 black-and-white photographs; very gently used ex-library copy in burgundy cloth covers with very bright and clear gilt lettering to spine, light shelf wear to bottom edges, bumps to corners and spine ends, rubber stamp to fore edge, two rubber stamps on copyright page and in margins of first and last text pages, ink signature/phone number and residue of label inside front cover, free front endpaper (presumably with card pocket) removed, but tight in binding, text pages otherwise very clean and unmarked, fresh and white; DJ chipped at spine top, gently bumped, two very tiny tears, but remarkably fresh, clean and bright.
