About the Author

Roshni Mangal grew up in the Fiji Islands. She was born to parents of Indian and Welsh descent. English was the third language she learned as a child after Hindu and Fijian. She moved to the United States at the age of eleven and has been independent since the age of sixteen. The author recently received her master's degree in Child Psychology from Antioch University. Prior to that, she had spent fifteen years as a teacher of preschool children. The author is known for her exuberant personality, commitment to excellence, and concern for children as well as her belief in the value of knowledge.

Store Description

Sam's Books opened in 1992 at the Oldsmar Flea Market, Oldsmar, Florida (Tampa Bay area). The store contains a wide variety of books with half the store dedicated to children's books and the other half filled with fiction, mysteries, science fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, etc. We are open four days a week - Thursday (!2:00 to 5:00 pm) and Friday, Saturday, Sunday (10:00 am to 5:00 pm).
