4to. Saddle-stitched into flexible wood veneer wraps and housed in a photographically illustrated envelope. An artist book in environmental themes based on an installation previously made for SFMOMA. One of three projects the Zephyrus Press undertook with WIley, Ships Log was adapted from on of Wiley's notebooks - to the point that the printing on the last page fades away, mimicking the fact that Wiley's pen had run out of ink on the last page. Indicative of the sly sense of humor suffusing the Zephyrus Image productions,The unusual wood veneer cover cleverly puns on the word "log" in the title. [Johnston pp. 112-3.] Fine in a very good envelope that shows some minor creasing and faint soiling to back panel. Seller Inventory # 31760
