'No, it is not just a question of puling a piece of cotton' state the authros on the first page. Putting ships in bottles is a lot more complicated. This great little book is very comprehensive and well illustrated. 5 chapters : Introducing ships in Bottles, early stages, rigging, now for the bottle and four masted barque + glossary and index. Plenty of line drawings and photos. Paperback 74pp 18.5cm x 12.5cm The text and illustrations are very good.There is a splodgy brown mark on fep which fades by the first page. The pictorial cover is sl chipped and dusty.
