First hardcover edition, with dust jacket, published by Prentice-Hall 1965. Shock and vibration as a factor in engineering design. Subjects covered include; Mathematical models, Methods of limiting shock and vibration, methods of controlling transmission of or the response to vibration. 145 pages with index, many line drawings throughout the book, 6-/14" X 9-1/4". Slate gray cloth covered boards. Former owner's name written on the front paste-down page. Erased pencil mark of a former price on the top corner of the ffep. There are some handwritten notes in pencil, some underlined passages in pencil as well. Small dot of age foxing to the bottom edge of the text block. Dust jacket is intact, has some rubbing wear on the front and back, short closed tear at the bottom edge about 1 inch long. Jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Not a library discard copy. Attached are some photos of the copy we have in our inventory.
