The border encloses two basebal l players, a field, buildings and trees stamped in black and white. Th e baseball player in the foreground bending down for a ground ball in black and white. The spine with baseball cap, diamond and crossed bats is also in black and white. Five interior illustrations by H.S. DeLay . The copyright page reads June 1909. A VG- copy. Slight spine lean. R ubbing along the edges. The corners and spine tips are frayed. The clo th is clean and tight. The white paint is lightly rubbed on the front board and spine.
