Blue cloth with gilt lettering. A spot of sun to the spine which corresponds to a chip at the head of dust jacket. Minor bump to heel of spine. Signed by the author on the front endpaper, " Very Best Wishes, Peter Bryan" Text is otherwise clean and bright, discoloration from inserted paper has causes a xerox effect on the half title, minor foxing to endpapers. Unclipped DJ with 15s price shows tears and skinned spots to spine with small losses at head and heel, rubbing and wear to all edges. Nice cover art by E. Brooks. "Thomas Budd spent his early years as a solicitor in two entirely different types of legal office.
