275 pages with many woodcut illustrations and 32 page publishers catalogue at the rear. Pale spasmodic spotting to endpapers and prelims, original publishers gilt embossed cloth and patterned boards one of the "International Scientific Series" of works. Board dark at spine and foredge, possibly stood near heat? charcoal endpapers and contents all very good, no stamps, not an ex-library copy. Octavo. VG. Seller Inventory # 7886

Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
