In a VG+-NF slipcase that has very slight shelf rubbing on the bottom and back, 2 small corner bumps and a white mark on the front bottom, but is otherwise in great shape. The cover is powder-blue board with gilt stamp design, quarter bound in midnight board with gilt title, with full-color frontispiece original Tolkien illustration, in a matching midnight blue slipcase. A handsome edition of Tolkien's epic history of the world of Middle-earth (Arda), from the birth of Ea, to the beginning of the Third Age.
