The book is tightly bound in blue with title in gilt on the spine. Bottom corner of the front cover is rolled and there is a small ding on the bottom edge of the back cover. Fore-edges have dust-dulling and a spot of foxing. Pages are clean, smooth and unmarked. Profusely illustrated with photographs and diagrams in black and white. The dust jacket is in good condition with small tears and chips on the ends of the spine panel and on the corners. The original price"42-" is on the front flap. 268 pages. Curtis Friends has been in existence for several decades.
