About the Author
Sara Pearch studied pottery at Chesterfield Art College in England, and continued her training as an apprentice in Japan. Sara has traveled extensively, gaining inspiration from her experiences. She produces mainly domestic pieces, with bright free-flowing decorative designs. Her work is exhibited all over the world and in many private collections. Sara was co-author of Step by Step Art School Ceramics. Geraldine Christy is a freelance book editor who also underakes writing commissions. She has a BA degree in English, French, and History of Art, and many years’ experience of editing illustrated books. She is particularly interested in art, crafts, and interior design and has written previous instructional art books on ceramics (as co-author with Sara Pearch) and pastels.
