Scarce. Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to front and spine. Boards are generally in good order, just a little grubby. Slight bumping to corners. Slight wear to board edges. Spine has bumping to top and bottom and scuffing to sides. Page edges are rough cut. Pictoral endpages. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection intact. Text block is tanned, but clean. 359 pp. This copy is from the first printing of Skyward and will be the only printing to contain the photographic frontispiece portrait of the author, additionally, has engraving of author pasted to rear to frontispiece with what could be an original signature. Scarce genuine first edition with added engraving. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 875g.
