A first edition of this crime thriller from one of the masters of this genre Dick Francis. Featuring the original dustwrapper. "Without the use of a superfluous work no one sets the scene more vividly than Mr Francis or keeps the reader in a more acute state of pleasurable agony." Dick Francis was a crime writer, who wrote a lot novels horse racing, as he used to be a jockey. Some of his other books include 'Dead Cart', 'Nerve', 'High Stakes', and 'Smokescreen'. In original cloth binding with the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. cSome light bumping to the front board. Some light spotting to the textblock edge. Ink signature to the front pastedown. Dustwrapper is also sound, though with some light rubbing and small marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean. Very Good Indeed.
