Binding a bit rubbed, spine rubbed, internally very clean, a very good copy. Hitchcock 1198. Sloan was the most prolific and influential American architect of the period. This is a notable American color plate book, important for documenting current American developments in the field of carpentry and building construction. This book reflects how American builders established their own standards, and in doing so rendered contemporary European practices obsolete.
