Wrappers. 36pp. Nichols 'left Worcester, Mass., at ten and travelled around Europe and the U.S. much in the manner described in this poem in which he has reconstructed the landscape of his father wandering across America - a spectral figure, in the end assuming responsibility for the whole system and being digested by it'. Somewhat rubbed/shelfworn and marked outwardly, with a couple of small patches of soiling to the page edges and offset rust marks to the lower wrapper, the spine head mildly chipped, and with toning to the outer leaves, but Very Good overall, and uncommon.
