About the Author
Formally trained as an historian, RON WOHLAUER came to photography while working for his MA at Cambridge University. He was steered by Ansel Adams to the University of Oregon where he received his degree in 1973. Married with two children, he makes his home in Denver, managing to travel often to Scotland, England, and Ireland.
