1st edition. 244 pages. Book issued in blue cloth. The dust jacket is by Grosset and Dunlap and has some spine fade; a little chipping and the top and bottom of the spine and tips. Illustrated by George Avison. Smiley Adams, the captain of the football team noticed that one of the players, the district attorney's son, had disappeared between the halves in the game and he discovered that Ted had been kidnapped and was being held by a gang of racketeers. Illustrated by George Avison with a frontispiece and five internal plates on plain paper. A nice copy! Now in Mylar. Selling quality books for 35 years.
