An extensive assemblage of short articles on a variety of scientific topics, from the structure of the universe to hominid ancestors of modern man. Obviously, from the perspective of state of the art in the late 1950s, some theories have been revised by now (take, for example, the major revisions of cosmology proposed by Stephen Hawking.) Bookplates of former owner on inside of front boards of all 3 volumes. Tight in boards. Very clean. Price includes $1 additional for overweight shipping. Individual volumes can be purchased for $10.
