"First published in mcmlxiii by Faber and Faber" stated - 1st edition Great Britain, toning/light soiling to edges of text block - light rubbing along bottom edges of boards and spine - a small/faint stain to pages 91-94, mylar enclosed dj shows edge wear, light soiling and a little scuffing to folds - 11/8" and 13/4" long x 1/8" wide green lines to center of front panel - chipping with short tears and scuffing to top edge and scuffing to bottom edge of spine - small chip to top of fold rear panel to flap - small stain to upper left and bottom corner clipped to front flap - original price intact in English L/s, illustrated with black & white photographs, text and photographs concern mainly venomous and larger constrictor species.
