no edition or printing stated only copyright date 1957 - assume 1st, toning with light soiling to edges of text block - top corner of rear board lightly bumped - fading with loss of filling exposing the thread wraps to 2 areas along bottom edge of rear board and 1 spot bottom edge of front board - light foxing with a 1" wide vertical toning line to front & rear end papers - light toning to pages with light very scattered foxing - crease to top corner of 3 pages - one sentence lightly inked underlined to 2 pages, dj now enclosed in mylar wrap shows edge wear, toning, light soiling and scuffing to folds - 35/8" wide x 2" deep (maximum) piece missing beginning top right edge of rear panel wrapping around top of spine and ending top center of front panel - 3/8" closed tear to top right edge with 7/8" & 1/2" tears with associated short creases to bottom edge of rear panel - 3/8" & 1/2" tears to top edge and 3/4" wide x 1/2" deep (maximum) piece missing to bottom edge of spine - chip with further 11/4" tear to top, 1/2" & 1" tears to center and 3/8" wide x 1/2" deep piece missing to bottom of fold rear panel to flap - small chip with further 3/4" tear to top, several tears, tape-repaired on backside and a small chip to bottom of fold front panel to flap - original price intact, illustrated with black & white photographs.
