A Very Good copy with wear to top and bottom of spine and tips, otherwise clean and bright. A former owner's name is written on the first endpaper. This first edition has only a Good+ dust jacket. Although complete, the jacket has some tape and tape residue on front and back covers, and tip and bottom of spine. No words are covered by the tape or its residue. Original $2.95 price intact. All points of first edition are present, including glossy front cover; the back flap, which lists Dr. Seuss' 20 books, with the last title being The Sneetches; and the back cover has the Rudolf Flesch quote. Still, a presentable copy at a very affordable price for such a scarce and desirable edition. Seller Inventory # 010719-8
