Happy Birthday. . . shows Little Rab bit opening a card and present and hav ing a party with his other rabbit friends. In It's Snowing. . . , Little Rabbit bun dles up to go out in the snow where he makes a snowman complete with a car rot nose from which he first nips a bite. The uncluttered childlike drawings are done primarily in light pastel colors with plenty of white space in each illus tration. Little Rabbit is reminiscent of Bruna's ``Miffy'' (Price/Stern/Sloan), although he is drawn in a less bold style.
