Ex-library with the usual library markings (if not for the library markings this copy would be graded in fine condition), overall a very crisp and clean used first edition! Very very rare and hard-to-find title! Green cloth with an illustrated white pastedown on the front board and white lettering on the spine. 109 informative and historical pages! Extremely scarce and out-of-print first edition! "We're losing. Or at least those of us who oncesaw solar technologies as tools for stimulating social change have gotten somehow side-tracked. Early supporters of solar energy were attracted to the technology because it seemed capable of promoting individual and community self-reliance as well as de-centralization of energy production and control." ---- from the Introduction. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
