Very good plus first edition book in very good dust jacket. Pale red cloth covered boards with dark blue background being sexton front panel and spine. Boards are lightly sunned around extremities. Upper page edges are tinted dark blue. Side and lower page edges are age-toned. Faint damp stain along gutter on back free end paper but nothing shown on the text pages. Internal pages are clean and text block is sound. Although soiled overall and a bit scuffed, charming dust jacket is largely intact except for small chips and rubs on corners at head and tail of jacket spine and fore-edge corners. Folds are creased and rubbed. Horizontal creasing along upper and lower edges on front and back panels. Not price clipped.
