First edition. Octavo. 61pp. Illustrated. Pictorial wrappers. Text in French Creole. Ink rubberstamp on front flyleaf states: "Kauss Editeurs, engr.". Covers are moderately dust soiled, small sticker mark on rear cover, else a very good copy. St. Valentin Kauss was born in Haiti in 1959. He and his brother, St. John Kauss, both poets and publishers, are credited with founding the literary school "Surpluralisme." They resided in Canada, and have published a number of books of poetry.
