Obscure title written by noted poet and lyricist of songs including Danny Boy and Roses of Picardy it is beautifully illustrated to every page by husband and wife team. Mary Edwards and John Staples with 22 full colour plates in fine detail. CONDITION Blue decorative cloth, spine is damp stain with short closed tear to spine, wear to cloth at spine ends and tips, gift inscription date 1889 and pencilled initials dated 1893, internally nice copy with dust spotting through out, gutter split at front ep not effecting mull or hinge.
