Songs of a Savoyard

1891 First edition. Comic poems and illustrations by W S Gilbert, one half of the famous Gilbert and Sullivan opera creators. This is a handsome volume in very good condition for a book of its age. Cream cloth cover without dust-jacket. Cover is solid, but with some darkening, dirt marks and chipping to top and bottom of spine - see photos. Internally, pages are in good condition, (sightly yellowed, as you'd expect, with very occasional isolated foxing or dirt marks, but mostly clean - examples in photos) Illustrated throughout in black and white, with two pages of publisher's adverts at end (see photos). Two discreet previous owner signatures in inside cover. Price includes tracked Royal Mail service at no extra cost within Uk. International tracked shipping will cost more - please contact me.
