South by Java Head by Alistair MacLean, Hardcover, First UK Edition (1958). Book in good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has bumping to the spine ends, and a minute tear to the top of the spine. It also has slight ageing internally, especially to the page edges. The dust jacket shows general wear and ageing, with some nicks and tears. It also has some tape reinforcement internally to the top of the spine and hinges. It is now encased in a removable plastic sleeve. A good, tight copy overall. (See pictures). Another adventure story by the writer of 'HMS Ulysses' and 'The Guns of Navarone'.
