328 pages (complete). A benign copy. Half-leather. Gilt borders and titling and decoration. Front board top right corner has been injured (as if 'snipped'). The leathered corners and spine have wear, handling marks, handling roughing. They are balefully regal. The spine has five shallow ridges. The titling etc are placid. The green cloth boards are scuffed, worn, marked. They are steady and sound. The papertrims have gilt edging (bright and fresh). The contents are mild-mannered, dutiful.
