This mint unread copy is bound in cloth covered boards with bright gilt titling to the spine, tight, white, bright and square. The unclipped dust wrapper has one or two small nibbles to the head of the spine but is otherwise in fine condition. A stunning collection of mainly the author's own collection of photographs, many published here for the first time, charts the history from the amalgamation of three small lines up to nationalisation in 1948. It will be of immense interest to local historians, transport enthusiasts and modellers alike. This copy is from the library of the late S. W.
