About the Author

Will Fowler is a journalist who has been specializing in military history, current affairs, and defence technology since 1972. He was Army Editor of the British magazine "Defence" from 1983 to 1990. In addition, he has written over 20 books covering military technology and conflicts from the 19th-century to the second Gulf War, including The Royal Marines, The Secret World of the Spy, SAS Behind Enemy Lines, and D-Day: The First 24 Hours. He lives in England.
