Used Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Dust Jacket Issued. 1st American Edition. 362 Pp. with 16 illustrations. Red, white, black and gilt pictorial cover: A sailor standing on a cannon with raised sword in hand. The front cover and spine are clean and bright, The interior is also clean and unmarked save for a dedicated face-plate on the interior of the front cover. The binding is tight, the spine is true and the hinges show no damage. The date for published is from the gift inscription on the inner front cover of March 31st, 1890.
