58 of 59 litho plates with accompanying 32 pages of letterpress, lacks large frontispiece. Plates dark and discoloured at outer edges affecting the look of the plates badly. the litho coloured title page is dark also, boards detached, spine perished. Square quarto. Fair in appearance but plates all without undue wear or handling. Seller Inventory # 8560

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
