About the Author
The Naked Scientists, a group of physicians and researchers from Cambridge University, England, are devoted to promoting theunderstanding and enjoyment of science, through their website, touring roadshows and award-winning BBC international radio show. They have won six national and international awards for popularizing science in the last three years, including the prestigious Royal Society's Kohn Medal, 2008 and have the honour of being one of the most downloaded science shows in the world. Dr Chris Smith is a doctor and a clinical lecturer in virology at Cambridge University. He started and presents the Naked Scientists' radio show and podcasts. Dave Ansell spent several years as a post-graduate physics student at Cambridge University, but spent most of his time planning, organizing, and building things for kids' science events with the society Cambridge Hands-On Science. He now works full time promoting the public understanding of science.
