A lovely, small 6-volume set that is undated but probably was published in the early 20th century. Green boards with bright gilt lettering and decoration. (Gilt lettering on spine of Volume 1 is somewhat faded in comparison to the other 5.) Texts are unmarked and books are clean and tight. Very slight shelf wear, especially considering the age of the books.

Friends of the Curtis Memorial Library, based in Brunswick, Maine is a non-profit corporation that exists solely to assist the Curtis Memorial Library in its many activities, principally through fundraising by the sale of used books. Operating through a retail outlet located at 200 Maine St. in Brunswick and through its on-line sales activities, Curtis Friends operates only with volunteers from the local community and sells only those books donated by its constituents. Curtis Friends has been in existence for several decades.
