Comprising "The Spectator" No. 252 (Wednesday, December 19, 1711) through No. 321 (Saturday, March 8, 1712). Full calf, spine in six compartments separated by raised bands, gilt lettering on one red and one black label in two compartments, all edges red. Illustrated with frontispiece engraving. Former owner's signature partially erased dated 26 September 1776 on ffep, small strip of black tape on title page, both hinges repaired and holding, covers and spine worn and rubbed, pages supple, text block tight and square. GOOD. The Spectator. 4. Engraved Frontispiece. 12mo 7" - 7½" tall. (ii), 303, (i-Index) pages.
