First edition. 12mo. Gray pictorial paper-covered boards. Binding is slightly bumped and lightly foxed, else a very good or better, bright copy. Considered one of the most successful literary hoaxes of the 20th century, Witter Bynner and Arthur Davison Ficke, under pseudonyms, published a collection of free verse, purporting to be an example of a new school of poetry, "Spectrist Theory," but the poems were in fact mocking the Imagist, Vorticist, and Choirist movements.
