Scientific/mathematical exposition. Second (First Paperback) Edn., 1995; xvi+573pp.; illus. bw. diagrams. Very slightly faded spine shows manufacturing error, in that the 'gloss' applied to the paper surface is crinkled (not very disfiguring), but spine itself is crisp/very clean; covers/pages crisp and very clean/bright. No vertical creasing to spine; no inscriptions.
