About this Item

Co-author N.B.Jopson. Green cloth-covered boards, 328 pp plus a separate Vocabulary (pp 331-363) and a summary of the Russian words for various grammatical terms (364-366). Tantalisingly, the title page mentions a set of gramophone records linked to the book, but sadly I cannot offer those. There is a useful section on intonation, and this is illustrated with diagrams from kymographic tracings. Condition: Boards rubbed, bumped and with differential fading, but binding sound and pages crisp and clean. Weight before packing 1 kg; extra postage will be needed for destinations outside the UK.

Shipping Terms

Standard shipping terms:

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs quoted are for books weighing up to 2 Kg (4.48 lb) when packed. If your book order is heavier than this, I may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. TAX on orders from the EU: our departure from the EU has left muddle and confusion for sellers and customers alike, but be prepared to have to pay the local rate of VAT when your book is delivered, and possibly other charges. We will do what we can to help but ultimately the customer is responsible for paying any taxes or other import charges. If you think we can help in any way, please contact us either before or after placing your order.
