Several small vignettes which I believe are by Bewick. Pl.8 has been misbound at p.343 and not 363 as directed. xxxix + 542 pp. Covers all aspects of hunting, fishing, racing, field sports. An interesting and entertaining read. Spine renewed, Retains original gilt decorative boards and original title label. Marbled boards with armorial bookplate of Henry Bewles. Spine has blind-stamped tooling with double and single gilt lining. Original label rubbed. Decorative gilt boards worn and rubbed. Inside, blank end papers tanned. Pages generally clean.
