This Sporting Life' by David Storey. This book is a first edition in the paperback Penguin, UK, 1962 format. This is a lovely copy but the first page and second page have a tiny chip missing from top tips and some residue along hinge otherwise this is a handsome paperback in bright covers with an image of Richard Harris to the front cover. Scarce in first edition in this format. Made into a film starring Richard Harris and Rachel Roberts in 1963. Strong covers with some dustiness to the back. Contents: name to rear of front cover with age-toning to pages otherwise unmarked.
