Short-listed for the 2002 Arthur Ellis Award for Best First Novel
Dr. Rebecca Temple has just returned to practice in an old converted house in the Kensington Market area of Toronto, six months after the death of her artist husband, when she’s confronted with the violent murder of a patient she had earlier diagnosed as paranoid. Sylvia Warsh’s accomplished first novel explores the decades-old deceptions and plots that go back to World War Two Poland and underlie the murder of Goldie. Even as Rebecca struggles with guilt over the misdiagnosis which may have led to her patient’s death, she becomes the killer’s next target.

Store description
We started selling books at the Toronto Book Fair in the Fall of 1996. In 2004 we opened up a Brick and Mortar store on the corner of Lakeshore and Bronte. We unfortunately only lasted for 2 years. Then we closed the B&M and moved everything back home. We continue to do book shows such as the Bouchercon, Bloody Words, The Toronto Book Fair, The Ottawa Antiquarian Show and Thrillerfest. In order to sell and acquire signatures. Thank you.

Shipping terms
I make it a rule not to contact you with extra shipping. When I buy books I buy with the thought of "How much is this book going to cost to ship." If it's too much I won't buy it.
The shipping charges that ABE quotes is the final shipping charges. I will not contact you for more money. I will bite the bullet myself rather then harass you for more money.
Thank you. Don
