133 pages with 8 full page colour plates and black and white vignette illustrations and head and tail pieces to each page by ARTHUR RACKHAM. contents all near fine condition, olive green embossed Rackham illustrated boards, gilt embossed titles also, in the original publishers dustwrapper with a little loss at head and tail of the spine and some age darkening and rubbing at edges of the spine and a closed horizontal closed tear near base of the spine, titles on the spine a little bit dull, but not rubbed and sharp, loose advert slip from Heinemann to the reader to fill in for other titles they would send the buyer, a handwritten (ink) copy of the poem at page 85 titled "Benediction" on half title with the words "To Jollie from Tom. Feb 16th 1919" and a 3 word Greek quote ending this dedication. Slim quarto. 1818.

Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
