No publication date. Presumed to be a first printing from 1937. Published in the "Ace Series." Small tears at the top and bottom of the spine next to the front panel. Spine has some staining at the base. Creasing down the front panel and there is a small dent to the rear panel. Page edges are browned with spotting to the top edge. Previous owner's stamp and date to the front free end paper. Pages are lightly browned but are otherwise clean and unmarked. Frontispiece and three other monochrome illustrations by Stanley Orton Bradshaw. No jacket.
