First printing of the Knight paperback edition, 1968. Priced 3/6 on back cover. The only edition where the pony's name was changed from Black Boy to Danny Boy. Later editions reversed the decision. Here the owner has changed the name with annotations in pencil and twice in green felt tip but seems to have got bored after page 27. No other inscriptions but page edges tanned.
