New York: Doubleday & McClure Co., 1899. Near Fine copy of first American edition. Just a hint of wera to green cloth binding. Internally clean and bright, with the exception of gift inscription pasted-in to front free endpaper and three humours newspaper clippings pasted- and laid-in to front blanks. The clippings are all poke fun at or are in some way critical of Kipling.
