Second British printing, November 1899 (first printing was October 1899). No jacket as issued. 272 pages plus publisher's two pages of adverts to rear. Red boards with (faded) gold lettering to spine and gold design to front are good with a few marks, a little pushing/bumping to corners, patchy browning (including to spine), the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/slight fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages gilt (little scratched). Pages little tanned. Previous owner's bookplate inside front board. Occasional small mark to page edges and bottoms. Very small bookseller's sticker inside front board. End-papers bit tanned. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
